The Ministry is Colour TV’s second film with New Form Digital, the forward-thinking digital content studio founded by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard. Released in 2016, the short boasts a cast that is brimming with comedic talent, including David Elms, Lucy Pearman, Letty Butler, Adam Loxley and Chris Kendall. As well, of course, as writer/director, Khyan Mansley, in the lead role.
Following Henry Wallace (Mansley) as he pursues a failing book career, the film shows the hapless Henry getting mixed up with a new group – a change of scene that could wind up being incredibly exciting, or tragically dangerous. The Ministry was selected as a Staff pick on Vimeo in June and has racked up 50,000 views across YouTube and Vimeo in just two months. You’d better set aside 15 minutes in your day, because this is definitely one to watch from start to finish.
