Colour TV was established by Jay Pond-Jones in 2005, following the success of the Flipside TV series on Channel 4.

Since then, we have created and produced entertainment shows and popular factual formats for TV, radio and online, in the UK, US and Canada.

Shows produced in 2014/15 and currently playing include KSI Demolished and The Bobby Mair Show for Comedy Central, and Thinking Out Loud for The Debrief.

Jay moved into entertainment via a prolific career as an ad agency creative director at BMB, HHCL, Mother and GGT. His best known work was always as much about ‘content’ as communication. Creating the FCUK Campaign, launching Pop Idol and The Premiership, working with Jack Dee on John Smiths, and getting people to stick limes in their bottles of Sol are just a few examples. Coming from this background it’s easy to see why brands looking for content, and platforms and channels looking to engage audiences in new ways are now so keen to work with Colour TV.

The ideas that excite us most are often difficult to categorise.

So although we enjoy making comedy entertainment, we’re also pretty keen on factual. The emerging genre of comedy factual hits the bulls-eye for us. If you can make people laugh and think, you’re really onto something.
